COOLANT SYSTEMS
At DBA Silencing, we’re best known for our mining truck mufflers and exhaust kits. This is partly because we’ve been specializing in these products for decades, but also because many of our exhaust components feature our proprietary composite shells, which are an industry leader when it comes to exhaust system thermal management. That said, we also help our customers beat the heat in a variety of other ways. We offer coolant systems and coolant components, for example, that optimize mining truck performance and profitability through effective temperature regulation. DBA coolant systems and coolant components feature three distinguishing characteristics.
1. Sturdiness
DBA coolant components are hand-made by expert welders to exacting specifications. We employ high-grade aluminized steel and heavy-duty flanges that we manufacture in-house. {If you’re interested in learning more about that last item, you may wish to check out our blog post “Exhaust Flanges & Coolant Flanges From DBA“.} We then apply specialized industrial coatings to give these parts an additional layer of protection. The care that we put into the construction of our coolant components allows them to successfully withstand the rigours of the field. We’ve actually seen several situations where our coolant kits outlasted their original trucks and ended up being used on a number of different vehicles.
2. Ease Of Installation
DBA’s aftermarket coolant system components are, generally speaking, much lighter than their OEM counterparts. This makes installations and part swaps much easier, and also reduces the amount of stress that these parts place on the trucks fitted with them. For further specifics on the advantages of DBA units, please see our blog post “Your Mining Trucks Need DBA Coolant Systems – Here’s Why“.
3. No Sticker Shock
DBA mufflers help control noise, and DBA coolant components help control heat. When the heat produced by a mining truck isn’t appropriately handled, all sorts of issues can result. As we outline in our blog post “The Case For DBA Coolant System Components“, these issues include truck fires, internal damage, mobile asset downtime, decreased productivity, and lost revenue. Our coolant systems save our customers money by avoiding these issues, but also by costing less in the first place. DBA coolant parts are typically considered a bargain when they’re compared to their OEM equivalents or other aftermarket offerings.
